A Simple Routine to Increase Your Overall Health, Well-being and Productivity

Life is hectic!

There is always so much going on, it’s hard to find the time to do anything outside of your already busy schedule.

Let alone having any energy to do any more than you already do. Any free time you finally manage to find in your day ends up with a sluggish posture on your sofa zoned out to the latest episode of Game of Thrones.

It may not be very productive or be much help to your health, but let’s face it, it feels good to just sit back and relax after a long day, and indulge in the satisfaction that comes from your favorite show.

There’s nothing wrong with a little r&r, but when it turns into a nightly marathon, it not only becomes unhealthy, it also turns you into a mindless zombie.

You want to make some changes in your life to improve your overall health and well-being. You wish you had more energy to be more productive. But when it comes down to it, it’s just much easier to keep doing what you always do…get by.

What if I told you there is a super simple way to not only increase your overall health and well-being, but also increase your energy levels and become more focused and productive?

The idea might sound good at first and sure you may want to hear about it, but when it comes down to it, would you actually take action and give it a chance?

Most people give up before they even attempt a change whether it’s proven to benefit them or not. It’s usually a combination of procrastination, excuses, and lazy.

But you’re different. You wouldn’t be reading this if you weren’t ready to at least make an attempt to become more healthier, energetic, and productive. That’s all I want, an attempt. That’s all I need because I really do have a super simple routine to help you do all that and more. Best of all, it’ll only take you a little over an hour a day. 30 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes in the evening.

So what is this routine I’ve been going on about? Well, it’s simple.

In the Morning

Immediately after you wake up, or after you visit the bathroom, read something inspirational for about 10 minutes. This will help create a positive mindset from the get go, and you know what they say about positivity don’t you?

Once you are feeling inspired and ready to change the world, or at least your own world, it’s time for 20 minutes of mind calming, thought clearing fun. That means meditation by the way.

There are numerous benefits to implementing a daily meditation practice. It’s a great way to detox the mind and will play a huge part in setting the tone for your evening routine and your day in general. Some benefits include but are certainly not limited to; lower stress levels, increased focus, and weight loss.

Need I say more? Come on, it’s 20 minutes, that’s it!

In the Evening

After you finish all of your daily tasks, or around the time when you normally plop down and turn on the tube, it’s time to workout.

Say what?

Yeah, I didn’t stutter, I said it’s time to workout. I know you’re tired and just want to sit, but this is the time to actually step up to the plate and dedicate yourself to making the changes that you seek.

I said simple, not easy. Nothing worth doing, especially that which will make the most difference is going to be hard. Don’t worry though, I believe in you 😉

Now where was I? … Ah, yes. Workout. Take 20-30 minutes and focus on a high interval training workout. There are many to choose from and you don’t need to go full-out on day one. We’re talking baby steps here.

The key is consistency and momentum. The rest will come.

When you keep to the routine you’ll establish a habit, then you’ll get better, start improving, and it will become a part of your new lifestyle towards better health and well-being. Oh and your productivity will naturally increase as a result of having more energy, more focus, better mood, etc.

Also, don’t forget to start making better food choices. The better you eat, the better you feel.

There you have it. Simple right?

I think you can. If you truly put in the effort, I know you can. You can do anything you set your mind to and you’ll still have time to watch that episode you’ve been waiting all week for.
