15 Reasons The World Loves Motivational Quotes

People use motivational  quotes all the time, I know I do I put them up all the time on my what’s app and Facebook profile and I get a lot of feedback from my friends as  you know we  always get a déjà-vu whenever you hear or read one. However, people still love them especially when they are used for motivation and inspiration, so here I have compiled for you 15 of them that are sure to get you going!

Reason no 15 – You Wish to See a Change.

“Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.”

The change may be for you or you may want to change the world. There is nothing wrong in wishing for a change as it brings in the new when the old goes out. You need a quote that will motivate you to open the right door that will bring about the change.

Reason no 14 – We Want More.

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” Theodore Roosevelt

There is always space for a little more and it is that “little” more that brings about a crucial difference in our lives. That extra effort that we put in might get us a better education, a better job and maybe, even a better life.

Reason no 13 – We’ve Got to Do It Now.

“Stop wishing. Start doing”

The time for the change is now and no amount of wishing is going to bring it to pass. We need to take action and go for the things that really matter in life. So get started now and you will see your wishes coming true.

Reason no 12 – Life seems to be too depressing and a motivational quote is just the thing to cheer you up.

“What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.” Oscar Wilde

When you know that the end of the long lonely and hard road has success and happiness in store for you, it might make the journey easier. You will know that tomorrow is another day and success might be just around the corner.

Reason no 11 – It shows us who we are.

“When the going gets tough…”

We have heard this a thousand times and yet, it makes sense only when we face tough situations.

Reason no 10 – We learn to adapt.

“You can’t stop the waves but you can learn to surf.”

Winners do not have everything going their way but they choose to adapt.  They face the same hurdles that everyone faces but they decide to act differently.  Quotes give us the courage to do things like a winner.

Reason no 9 – We have to try…again!

“Do not give up. Try one more time.”

Our greatest weakness is giving in to weakness and not believing in ourselves.  However, if you believe that you can succeed if you try just one more time, then you are on the right track.

Reason no 8 – Brings a bright future.

“Plant today to harvest tomorrow.”

We have to live for the moment but there is also the future to consider.  We have to invest wisely and we have to start doing it now.

Reason no 7 – You learn to be different.

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”  Robert Frost

We get the courage to take the less trodden road and not be a crowd-follower for the rest of our lives. Sometimes, we need to read just one line to take the plunge.

Reason no 6 – It changes the way you think.

“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.” Henry Ford

Now, this is an eye opener and it undoubtedly makes us see us in a different light.  Change your way of thinking if you want to change the way you live.

Reason no 5 – We refuse to quit.

“Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.” Jesus

When we know that we will get as long as we ask, then there is no stopping us. That door will open for us if only we stand there long enough and you will find what you are searching for if you do not give up at once.

Reason no 4 – We start with what we have and sometimes, that is all we need.

“Start where you are. Use what you have.  Do what you can.” Arthur Ashe

We do not have to be millionaires to be achievers and we do not have to be celebrities to make a difference. Now that is something we all want to hear and quotes tells it beautifully.

Reason no 3 – We learn to see.

“Everything has beauty, but not everyone can see.” Confucius

Commercialism, globalization and technology have brought about a different way of looking at things. However, it takes just a single line to make us really look at things and learn to appreciate true beauty.  In the age where beauty is no longer in the eye of the beholder but in what the other person has, we need to sit down and get back to the basics.

Reason no 2 – You realize that there are things more important than success.

“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” Albert Einstein

Not everyone can be a success but when you start focusing on being of value, you can help the other person to succeed.  There is something in all of us that can help, build and enrich the lives of those around us. When we start living the right way, we can expect to get back what we give away.

The ultimate reason – As humans, we tend to forget.

“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing.  That’s why we recommend it daily.” Zig Ziglar

We need motivational quotes every now and then to jog our memory of who we can be, what we want to be and how we should be. The everyday drudgery of life is sure to get us sinking and it is the quotes that bring a ray of sunshine that will show us the light.  Inspirational quotes act as stepping stones and we certainly need them on a regular basis to face a dark situation, a tough day and a future that looks hopeless.  Quotes give us hope, strength and a winning plan to get the heart of a champion. So, follow the expert’s advice and take one daily!
