    Hi,

I don’t agree with Marva Collins quote: “Success doesn’t come to you, you go to it.” I agree more with Jim Rohn’s quote in lesson #4, “We can have more than we’ve got because we can become more than we are.”

I believe that success is attracted to you by the person you become. You just need to listen to your heart, do what you love and leverage your strengths. Success is a result of self knowledge and passionate living, not a destination to go to.

I very much like the Swedish proverb that says, “God gives every bird a worm, but he does not throw it into the nest.”

It is critical to understand Jim Rohn’s quote: “Unless you change how you are, you will always have what you’ve got.”

He said “change HOW you are” not “change WHO you are”.
Don’t change who you are. Instead change how you are.

This means that you need to change how you use your strengths, how you manage your weaknesses and how you think & act. You must believe that you are the best as you are and you have inborn talents that matches with your purpose in life. It is all about changing how you’re making use of your gifts.

Thanks for the great post and quotes you shared.

“It is easy to get to the top after you get through the crowd at the bottom.”

I especially like this one. I believe that success is about working your way up. Positions do not matter. What’s important is that you know you’re not where you were 5 years ago. You may not be the vice-president in your department, as long as you know what you’ve improved, then that’s success. Do not wait for success to happen, do something to make it happen. Wow what an article ! The points which I liked the most are ‘ change’ and ‘ stumble’. If I want others to change or if I want something to get changed , I must change . Thanks for this message :) Also what you said about stumbling , I liked the quote . A stumble may prevent falling.Success according to me does not mean to have achieved all what was desired but the way you’ve achieved your goals.
