Knowing that, however, can make it very daunting.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why it\u2019s so important to have a long term goal \u2013 but to break it up into small manageable parts. The key is not necessarily the size of your benchmarks, but the frequency with which you hit them. It\u2019s the cumulative effect of these small but achievable victories that will have you well on your way in no time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are 5 quick tips to make this a confident week:<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Sit up<\/strong>! Set your alarm to go off 3 times throughout the day to check in with your posture. Body language is one the quickest ways to bolster instant confidence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Get to know someone new<\/strong>. Have lunch this week with someone in your office that you don\u2019t normally hang out with.\u00a0 Breaking your routine allows you to jump out of your comfort zone which is a fantastic catalyst for self confidence breakthroughs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work it out<\/strong> \u2013 sitting at your office, or standing at your job is often very sedentary and mundane. So make a point to get some exercise during the day \u2013 whether it be a brisk walk for part of your lunch, or a quick work out in before you get there. Exercise fills the body with endorphins that create positive energy that you will be projecting throughout the day. You\u2019ll be amazed how much you get back in return. Good health is not just an integral part of living well \u2013 it also happens to be an instant confidence booster.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accept a social engagement that you normally wouldn\u2019t<\/strong>. Putting yourself out in the world forces you to engage in situations and with people. Whether you like it or not, the world is a social being \u2013 slowly building your confidence so you can find your place it in, is one of the most gratifying things you can do.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Knowledge is power<\/strong>. You have to keep feeding your mind. Once you\u2019ve learned something, no one can ever take it away. So whether it\u2019s a new language, a new skill, or a new hobby \u2013 sign up for something this week that will broaden your horizons, skill level and happiness.
