Just because you’re in messy love, or imperfect, that doesn\u2019t make it any less valid or real. A messy love can be beautiful, and certainly, pull you outside your comfort zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When\nopposites attract, they can bring on a whole host of things you never\nexperienced before. Messy love life can be filled with drama and conflict.\nHowever, it shouldn\u2019t be confused for a toxic relationship<\/a><\/strong>. It\u2019s just a regular relationship that\nfunctions with drama. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember\npeople are different and what works for you, doesn\u2019t work for me. Come enjoy a\npeaceful, low-key relationship, while others thrive on drama and high needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing is perfect, but that doesn\u2019t stop\npeople from trying to achieve it. And in the world of social media, and perfect\nposts, it\u2019s hard not to compare ourselves to others. But, the truth of the\nmatter is, we make our own perfection. And it doesn\u2019t make the love you share\nwith your partner any less valid. It\u2019s up to you and your partner how you want\nyour relationship to be, and never let anyone tell you otherwise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imperfections <\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Imperfections\nare character building. In a relationship, they can be the things that bond you\ntwo together too. For example, he leaves just a drop of milk left in the fridge\nafter using it. It\u2019s annoying, but you two can joke about it. She always asks\nfor things the minute he sits down \u2013 he was just up and could have gotten her\nthat drink of water, but as soon as he sits down she asks. It\u2019s little things\nlike this that can keep a couple laughing, and poking fun at each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Honeymoon Phase<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The\nHoneymoon phase is still alive and going. Ok, well maybe not as hot and heavy\nas it used to be. But, you certainly aren\u2019t bored with each other. You have\naccepted each other for who they are, and you don\u2019t want to change them. You\nargue, like any normal couple, but you understand each other\u2019s value and\nwouldn\u2019t want to argue with anyone else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love Is Supposed To Be Messy<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There\nI said it. The cookie-cutter version of love that exists only in Hollywood is\nnothing but a fantasy. Even those actors that are playing the roles don\u2019t have a\nlove like that. Why? Because it simply doesn\u2019t happen in the real world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We make mistakes, we pick each other up. We\nfight, we cry, we make love. On any given day we can start out happy and\ncontent, and by the end of the day, we can\u2019t even look at our partners. But,\nwhat is important is that you find someone that you can experience all of this\nwith. A person who won\u2019t judge you, or at least hold a grudge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We want someone we can be ourselves around. Our normal messy selves<\/em>. And much like an onion, love has layers to it. When you peel back those layers and expose the raw version of ourselves, things<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>are bound to be a little messy. <\/p>\n
