Stay positive. <\/strong><br \/>\nYou can listen to the cynics and doubters and believe that success is impossible or you can know that with faith and an optimistic attitude all things are possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement: <\/strong><br \/>\nMy purpose is_______________________.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Take a morning walk of gratitude. <\/strong><br \/>\nI call it a \u201cthank you walk.\u201d It will create a fertile mind ready for success.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Instead of being disappointed about where you are&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;think optimistically about where you are going.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Eat&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Remember that&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;adversity is not a dead-end but a detour to a better outcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Focus on&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;learning, loving, growing and serving.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Believe that everything happens for a reason<\/strong>.<br \/>\nExpect good things to come out of challenging experiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Don&#8217;t waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. <\/strong><br \/>\nInstead invest your energy in the positive present moment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Mentor someone&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;and be mentored by someone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Live with the 3 E&#8217;s. <\/strong><br \/>\nEnergy, Enthusiasm, Empathy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>12. Remember&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;there\u2019s no substitute for hard work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>13. Zoom focus. <\/strong><br \/>\nEach day when you wake up in the morning ask: \u201cWhat are the three most important things I need to do today that will help me create the success I desire?\u201d Then tune out all the distractions and focus on these actions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>14. Implement the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nocomplainingrule.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">NoComplainingRule<\/a>. <\/strong><br \/>\nComplaining is like vomiting. Afterwards you feel better but everyone around you feels sick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>15. Read more books than you did in 2010. <\/strong><br \/>\nI happen to know of a few good ones!<\/p>\n<p><strong>16. Get more sleep. <\/strong><br \/>\nYou can\u2019t replace sleep with a double latte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>17. Focus on \u201cGet to\u201d vs \u201cHave to.<\/strong>\u201d<br \/>\nEach day focus on what you get to do, not what you have to do. Life is a gift not an obligation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>18. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements:<\/strong><br \/>\nI am thankful for __________.<\/p>\n<p>Today I accomplished____________.<\/p>\n<p><strong>19. Smile and laugh more. <\/strong><br \/>\nThey are natural anti-depressants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>20.
