If you want more success, you start with your mindset. This is because&#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>What is within your control<\/strong> stems directly from your mind. It begins in your\u00a0beliefs,\u00a0which\u00a0drive\u00a0most of your thought patterns, giving rise to the majority of your feelings, which incline your choices and actions (or\u00a0inaction), and therefore create\u00a0results in your life.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What is <em>not<\/em> within your control<\/strong> is <em>still<\/em> perceived and interpreted\u00a0by you through the filter of your beliefs, which\u00a0again drive\u00a0your thought patterns, giving rise to your feelings, inclining your choices and action, therefore producing results in response to whatever is going on around you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Your mindset is therefore key\u00a0to the<strong> proactive creation\u00a0of what you want in your life<\/strong>, and your <strong>reactive response to\u00a0life happening<\/strong> around you.<\/p>\n<p>Most people have some type of limitation in their mindset, which either shows up as\u00a0problems in their life\u00a0or a cap on the extent\u00a0of success they experience &#8211;\u00a0be it in love, relationships, health, body, money, lifestyle or career\/business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why is My Mindset Limited?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your\u00a0mindset is simply a\u00a0result of the way you\u00a0have been conditioned over your\u00a0lifetime. For example, from\u00a0the day that you were born your\u00a0mind\u00a0observed the\u00a0world around you.\u00a0You\u00a0absorbed information, conversations, experiences and outcomes, doing your best to interpret and formulate what you\u00a0believed to be true about yourself, other people and life. Your current\u00a0beliefs, fears and expectations were\u00a0all conditioned in some way by your\u00a0parents, family, teachers, peers, relationships, bosses, colleagues, friends, advertising, social media, news media and more. The broader environment of your\u00a0generation, country, culture and society has had an influence on your\u00a0mindset.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout your life to date, your\u00a0mind has\u00a0always been busy\u00a0making sense\u00a0of all of this, to formulate the best way to get by, to be good and successful, and to avoid pain. This is true for everyone. As your\u00a0mind automatically\u00a0formulates beliefs in this process, some of those beliefs end up being useful and liberating, but others\u00a0can be\u00a0harmful and limiting.<\/p>\n<p>This mindset is\u00a0your unique paradigm, your &#8220;model of reality&#8221;. It is like a pair of coloured glassed you wear, which tint what\u00a0you\u00a0see and believe to be true, based on the unique path your\u00a0life has taken and the conditioning you\u00a0have experienced. As you\u00a0go about your\u00a0life, your\u00a0mind perceives\u00a0what is happening around you\u00a0with your\u00a0senses, filtering it all through your beliefs, and interpreting everything\u00a0according\u00a0to that. This then drives most of your thought patterns, feelings,\u00a0communication and action, and therefore produces the results of your\u00a0life.<\/p>\n<p>Most issues can easily be traced back to a\u00a0blocked mindset in this way &#8211; either because it is in your control and you are generating issues directly THROUGH\u00a0your mindset or because of how you are perceiving something outside of your control FROM\u00a0your mindset.<\/p>\n<p>People become stuck in their conditioning, and<strong> like a\u00a0scratched CD they keep replaying<\/strong> the\u00a0same message, behavior, patterns and results on a\u00a0loop<strong> until something or someone comes along to bump them out of it, to interrupt the pattern<\/strong> and to introduce a whole new\u00a0mindset.<\/p>\n<p>It is definitely <strong><em>not<\/em> your fault\u00a0if you have limitation in your mindset<\/strong> from unconscious conditioning that has taken place before you became aware of it, but once aware,\u00a0<strong>it <em>is<\/em> your responsibility to do something about it<\/strong> &#8211; to help yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Here are <strong>8 common root-cause\u00a0limiting beliefs<\/strong>\u00a0that exist\u00a0below\u00a0most problems. While limiting beliefs can show up in all sorts of costumes, other versions of limiting beliefs often\u00a0boil down to one or more of these&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am not good enough \/\u00a0I am not enough<\/li>\n<li>I am not loved \/ I am unlovable<\/li>\n<li>I\u00a0am undeserving \/ I am not worthy<\/li>\n<li>I am incomplete<\/li>\n<li>I am unsupported<\/li>\n<li>I am not\u00a0safe<\/li>\n<li>I am alone \/ I don&#8217;t belong<\/li>\n<li>I am nothing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Know What You Believe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As you glance over this list you may initially think on a conscious level that they don&#8217;t apply to you. To go beyond the surface level of your mind and what you &#8220;think&#8221;, to instead delve deeper to what you really <em>believe<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>focus on any problems you have in your life\/circumstances at present and <em>then<\/em> ask yourself if you believe any of these 8 things<\/li>\n<li>focus on any negative habits\/patterns you have and <em>then<\/em> ask yourself if you believe any of these 8 things<\/li>\n<li>focus on any goals\/aspirations you want to achieve but are struggling to get traction with or are not acting upon at all, and <em>then<\/em> ask yourself if you believe any of these 8 things<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Being specifically focused on particular areas of your life when you consider these 8 limiting beliefs, helps you to see them <em>at play<\/em> in your life.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, always remember that <strong>your actions attest to what you truly believe.\u00a0<\/strong>So look at your actions or inaction as a footprint\u00a0to trace back to what you believe to be true and real about\u00a0yourself, other people and life,\u00a0helping to pinpoint limitations in your mindset that need resolution in order for you to be fully happy and successful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Good News<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While your mind\u00a0may have been conditioned to believe one or more of these limiting things, the good news is that <strong>your mind\u00a0can also be <em>reconditioned<\/em> to believe the exact opposite.<\/strong> Your mind\u00a0can be trained,\u00a0shaped and led to a healthy, accurate paradigm that serves you, so <strong>you can\u00a0get results in all areas of your life without limitation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a prescription for a limiting paradigm, to rewire your mind to full health, you want to embed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am good enough<\/li>\n<li>I am enough<\/li>\n<li>I am loved\/lovable<\/li>\n<li>I am deserving\/worthy<\/li>\n<li>I am whole\/complete<\/li>\n<li>I am supported<\/li>\n<li>I am safe<\/li>\n<li>I am connected \/ I belong<\/li>\n<li>I am valid, valued and valuable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important Keys\u00a0for Embedding\u00a0Healthy New Beliefs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Know those limiting beliefs your mind has taken on board <strong>do not\u00a0belong to you.<\/strong> They\u00a0are accidental baggage you picked up because your mind absorbed messages from those around you, from your upbringing, education, exposure and experiences throughout life, and did it&#8217;s best to make sense of life.<\/li>\n<li>Logically see that those limiting beliefs <strong>are\u00a0not true<\/strong>. This\u00a0might feel like a push for you at first. The key is to understand that everyone is born clean and clear of limiting beliefs about themselves, others and life. No baby is born with a limiting mindset. Limiting mindsets are created.\u00a0Therefore if you were born clear,\u00a0and the only thing different about you now is that you got bigger as you grew into an adult, then fundamentally at your core you are still as you were born &#8211; clean and clear. Your mind is the only place that got led into a foggy and confusing paradigm of illusion, and your mind can be changed.<\/li>\n<li>Understand that <strong>your mind will absorb whatever you feed it consistently and repetitively, \u00a0or with\u00a0a\u00a0level of intensity\/conviction.\u00a0<\/strong>That is how limiting beliefs were formed in the first place &#8211; because you heard\/saw\/felt something enough that you began to believe it, or because something intense\/traumatic\/memorable occurred and you took on a new belief as a result of how you\u00a0interpreted that. Therefore, the same goes for retraining your mind, you maximise\u00a0your understanding of this process and use it to your benefit now.
