Some so afraid that they can’t attempt anything that involves the risk of failure.

But everyone that has ever succeeded did it by failing first. Failure is the precursor to success and the only was to succeed is by showing great persistence.

This is something we all struggle with. When the going gets tough the easiest thing to do, is give up. We have all had the chance to go out on the limb, do something extra that might result in extra ordinary results or in total ruin.

Most of us chose the safe rode, studying, getting a job and just doing what we were required to do. Which is fine, if it is what you want.

If you want to succeed you have to be willing to do something extra. To go beyond the regular restraints and do more. You have to have the guts to pick yourself up after you fall and try again, and again, until you find the right fit.

Napoleon Hill explains this well in his book “Think and Grow Rich”.
To succeed you first need a goal. You need to know what you are aiming for.

The next step is to make a plan for its completion.

Once you have made the plan, act on it and learn each time you fail.
Each time you fail it is because the plan wasn’t perfect. So go back and remake your plan with your knew found knowledge.
From their you can act upon the new plan.
Fail, rework it, fail again and rework the plan once more.

But even after all those failures, all those chances to give up, you must press on. Because sooner or later, you will find the perfect plan and you will succeed.
It can go faster than you ever imagined, but depending on where you are today it might require many many lessons eg.
