Do you think your life is a failure? Why? Is it because you haven\u2019t accomplished any of your goals? Or because you aren\u2019t financially stable? Don\u2019t have a beautiful home?<\/p>\n

People can be very dramatic. We\u2019ll stub our toe on the way out the door in the morning, and exclaim \u201cLife sucks!\u201d<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll create a goal to become a self-made millionaire, won\u2019t work very hard to achieve the goal, and then 2 months later when we discover that our checking account has a balance of $3.24, scream, \u201cI can\u2019t do this!! I\u2019m a failure!\u201d<\/p>\n

We use the word failure a lot. I\u2019d venture to say we use it too much. And what does this word mean, anyway? What exactly is \u201cfailure\u201d? Well, since I don\u2019t know everything (sometimes), let\u2019s consult with the dictionary.<\/p>\n

failure <\/strong>(n.) – an act or instance of failing or proving unsuccessful; lack of success
\nAlright, so according to the dictionary, if we lack success, we\u2019ve failed. That\u2019s good to know. So, what is success?<\/p>\n

success<\/strong> (n.) – the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors<\/p>\n

In other words, once you\u2019ve accomplished your attempts or endeavors, you are a success. Really? How dare that dictionary!<\/p>\n

Doesn\u2019t it know that success can mean lots of different things? How about this?<\/em><\/p>\n

1. You\u2019re a success because you are able to remain positive in a world that\u2019s full of negativity and hopelessness.<\/p>\n

2. You\u2019re a success because you spread love into the world.<\/p>\n

3. You\u2019re a success because you\u2019re constantly willing to learn, grow, and expand.<\/p>\n

4. You\u2019re a success because you\u2019re flexible. You realize that if one thing doesn\u2019t work out, you can always try something else.<\/p>\n

5. You\u2019re a success because you understand that in order for there to be good times, there have to be bad times.<\/p>\n

6. You\u2019re a success because you live in a world where everyone tells you that you \u201ccan\u2019t,\u201d yet you try anyway.<\/p>\n

So do you understand now the one and only reason why your life would be a failure?<\/p>\n

It’s simple.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s because you think it is.<\/strong><\/p>\n
