If this sounds familiar to you, and you\u2019re one of those people who thinks that you can only be happy if you\u2019re wealthy, have tons of friends, fame, and a\u00a0perfect family, you\u2019re sadly mistaken. The next time you say, \u201cI hate my life,\u201d I want you to ask yourself this: Would you rather be dead? It may sound harsh, but just think about it. As long as you\u2019re alive, you can be happy, and there\u2019s always a chance to improve your life situation. <strong>Here are 10 ways how!<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Start focusing on the positive things about your life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t think of anything, you\u2019re still holding on to negativity. Let it go. What are the things about your life that you really love?<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Stop complaining.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even if you don\u2019t love life, you don\u2019t have to say it all the time. The more you say that you don\u2019t love your life, the more you\u2019ll enforce those negative feelings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Don\u2019t compare\u00a0your life with someone else\u2019s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your life can never be an exact replica of someone else\u2019s. Therefore, it doesn\u2019t make sense to spend so much time stressing about what someone else has. If anything, you can take the happiness of someone else as inspiration to achieve your own successes, but not to feel bad about what\u00a0you don\u2019t have.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Do more of the things that you love.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do you often complain and say that if only you had the time, you\u2019d do more things that make you happy? Well, that\u2019s not true. You do have the time! You don\u2019t have to do very time-consuming things. Maybe you love crossword puzzles, or playing with your pets, or maybe taking a walk. Try to do\u00a0at least one thing\u00a0that makes you happy every day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Recognize that life is always changing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you feel down because you don\u2019t have the perfect job, or are not as financially free as you\u00a0would like\u00a0to be, you need to recognize that your current situation is just that, your current situation. Things\u00a0do change.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Surround yourself with good people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pay attention to the company you keep. Are you always around complainers and Negative Nellies? If so, you need to realize that their energy can have a very negative affect on your own happiness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Start helping others.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The more you start focusing on helping other people, the less time you will have to complain about your own life. Not only that, but helping people makes you feel really good!<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Watch less TV.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the job of advertisers to tell you that your life is not good enough and that to improve it, you need to buy the latest clothes, gadgets, and vehicles. Don\u2019t subject yourself to these lies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Start appreciating the small things.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have you ever taken a close look at nature? The sky, animals, plants, rivers. It\u2019s absolutely gorgeous! Start seeking out and learning to appreciate life itself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Remember that you shouldn\u2019t let life pass you by.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you need more incentive to start loving life right away, here\u2019s something for you. The more time you spend being miserable and not appreciating things, the more life is passing you by. You don\u2019t want to look at your life years from now, and be unhappy that you spent your time complaining and being negative. Do it now, while you have the chance.
