Today I want to talk about seven amazing life lessons from Oprah, I recently wrote an article titled \u201c7 Must Read Lessons from Oprah,\u201d so needless to say, there\u2019s a lot to learn from Oprah.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oprah Winfrey is an American television host, producer, and philanthropist, most known for her self-titled, multi-award winning talk show, which has become the highest-rated program of its kind in history.<\/p>\n

She has been ranked the richest African American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and was once the world’s only black billionaire.<\/p>\n

Some even consider her to be the most influential woman in the world.<\/p>\n

Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She went though considerable hardship during her childhood, prior to becoming the person she is today.<\/p>\n

7 Amazing Life Lessons from Oprah:<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. See What You Want to Be<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I look into the future, it’s so bright it burns my eyes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

What do you see when you look into your future, because what you see is what you\u2019re going to get.\u00a0 Do you see your future so bright it burns your eyes?\u00a0 If you do, then that\u2019s what you\u2019re going to get.\u00a0 If you see your future as mundane, then that\u2019s exactly what you\u2019ll get as well.\u00a0 What you see is what you get; I suggest you begin to see what you want to be.<\/p>\n

2. The Power of Passion<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cPassion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Passion comes from doing what you love.\u00a0 When you\u2019re passionate you can work all night long.\u00a0 Passion is power, it the fuel that you need to succeed.\u00a0 Discover your passion and dedicate your life to fulfilling it, no matter how long it takes.<\/p>\n

3. Focus on the Good<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBe thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”<\/em><\/p>\n

What you focus on expands.\u00a0 If you focus on the good, you will get more of it.\u00a0 If you focus on lack and poverty, you will get more of that as well.\u00a0 Learn to recognize the good in your life and be grateful for it everyday.\u00a0 Soon your focus will change and so will your life.<\/p>\n

4. You Must Change<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWe can’t become what we need to be by remaining what we are.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

In order to have more, you must become more.\u00a0 Nothing changes in your life until you grow.\u00a0 What are you doing daily to grow, to change?\u00a0 If you\u2019re not changing, you shouldn\u2019t be expecting your life to change.\u00a0 To the degree that you change is to the degree that your life will change.\u00a0 If you keep on doing, what you\u2019ve always been doing, you\u2019re going to keep getting the results you\u2019ve always been getting, to expect otherwise is insane.<\/p>\n

5. We All Fall Down<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDo the one thing you think you cannot do. Fail at it. Try again. Do better the second time. The only people who never tumble are those who never mount the high wire. This is your moment. Own it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Imagine if a small child quit trying to learn how to walk after falling down twenty times.\u00a0 Imagine if he or she said, I guess this walking thing isn\u2019t for me.\u00a0 In life you will fail, you will make mistakes, you may even get discouraged, but you must try again.\u00a0 The only people not failing are the people who are not stretching themselves beyond their current comfort zone.\u00a0 Dare to fail until you succeed.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 Maximize Your Potential<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole point of being alive is to evolve into the complete person you were intended to be.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Are you maximizing your potential?\u00a0 Are you utilizing 100 percent of your skills, talents and knowledge, or are you settling.\u00a0 The purpose of life is to grow, to become all that you were intended to be.<\/p>\n

Your purpose is to grow big enough so that you can help others, so the question is, are you maximizing your potential?<\/p>\n

7. Think Bigger<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat God intended for you goes far beyond anything you can imagine.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

So many people live beneath their capabilities because they are riddled with guilt by the thought of living a lavish life.\u00a0 Your creator intended for you to have the best, and to become your very best. \u00a0The best was made for you!\u00a0 If not you, then who?<\/p>\n
