I already had a fine car\u2026 a reliable, relatively new Toyota with ample amount of comfort. But I could not figure out why my heart skips a beat when every time I see a new wine-red colored Volvo S60.<\/p>\n

I was comfortable with what I had, but every time I saw that Volvo a faint voice deep inside of me told me this is what I should have.<\/p>\n

I tried my best to ignore that voice. Sometimes I would fight with it\u2026 telling myself that my Toyota is comfortable, reliable, trusty while that Volvo is way out of my budget. There is no way I can afford it. No chance.<\/p>\n

But something strange started happening. The more I tried to suppress that desire, the unhappier I became. Actually, unhappy might not be the correct word. There was just a lack\u2026. as I go about my normal day, there was something missing.<\/p>\n

Suppressed desires create issues you would not believe.<\/p>\n

I stumbled across a book \u2013 the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Instead of fighting my desire, I embraced it. At the start, I had no idea how I was going to deal with all the obstacles (finance, legal documents, etc)<\/p>\n

I just decided to get it<\/b>\u2026. How will come later\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

Wrote down my goal with a time limit of its completion on a piece of paper and pasted it on my washroom mirror. When you wake up, your mind is particularly receptive to suggestions. Every time I brushed my teeth I saw my goal written in front of me. I would imagine how it would feel like to drive my Volvo.<\/p>\n

This strengthened belief that I will eventually obtain my goal and kept my motivation burning.<\/p>\n

By this time, I was fully aligned with my goal. There was no conflict inside. Motivational fire was intense. The only thing remaining was to take ACTION.<\/p>\n

My first plan was to sale out my existing Toyota. This will provide two benefits. One, It will provide finance to put in Volvo. Second, having no car will put my back against the wall. There would be no second thoughts like this new goal is so hard, maybe I should keep my Toyota. It\u2019s comfortable where I currently am. Why exert so much effort?<\/p>\n

Comfort is the biggest killer of success.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, I proceeded with my 1st<\/sup> plan. And after 2 months, nothing happened. I would not say it was a Failure. I just realized I need to change my plan. Try something else. I made a 2nd<\/sup> plan and begin working on it. It also didn’t turn out as I thought it would.<\/p>\n

I kept persisting<\/b> with different approaches.<\/p>\n

Plus, I kept my desire burning with visualizing achieved goal. Let me tell you, this was the only thing which kept my motivation alive when all of my plans were failing left and right. It was like a candle which refused to go off even when completely surrounded by dark storm.<\/p>\n

Now I am not a firm believer of Law of attraction, but somehow things just work out. I received an unexpected call from my dad. I told him about I am trying to get a new Volvo. He suggested a very simple plan. It made complete sense.<\/p>\n

I immediately took action. And in the end my Toyota was sold for the exact amount I needed for the down payment of Volvo. Exact amount\u2026 not a single dollar more, not a single dollar less.<\/p>\n

Maybe it was the pattern of subconscious brain, or maybe it was the law of attraction, I can never be sure. But what I do know is that if we set any goal and do the things mentioned above, Success is pretty much guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Success coaches call it the Ultimate success formula. Meta-physicians call it the Law of attraction. Spiritual people call it Will of the god. Think of it whatever you please. Just realize that if you want something, anything, you can achieve it.<\/p>\n

I have read somewhere that if you have a dream, no matter how big or impossible it may seem, you can achieve it\u2026 The universe is letting you see that vision because you have the capacity to achieve it. If you did not have that capacity, you would not be seeing that vision.<\/p>\n

In the end, we have only one life and time is running out quickly. Before the end, be who you want to be. Achieve all that you desire. Leave no stone unturned. It\u2019s better to burn out trying your best, rather than laying on your deathbed with regret that there were so many things we could have gone for…<\/p>\n
