What is it about life?<\/p>\n

What is it that makes us afraid of what could happen or what is round the corner?<\/p>\n

Why do we try to control, try to make things fit the way we want them to fit?<\/p>\n

It seems mad to me and yet I do it too. \u00a0You see I\u2019ve just started my very own launch, launch of something I care about for my business and here I am struggling.\u00a0 \u00a0I\u2019ve gone into melt down, doubting and obsessing over it rather than being sensible and letting it unravel over time and work itself out.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s it right there \u2013 I\u2019ve got to \u2018let it\u2019 happen in its own time.<\/p>\n

The thing is it\u2019s easy to let it happen when you\u2019ve got plenty of money, plenty of time, happy with how things are going and you can let it glide by without a care in the world.<\/p>\n

So is the answer not to care? <\/b><\/p>\n

Not caring isn\u2019t in my make-up, it\u2019s kind of part of me, it\u2019s why I do what I do. I\u2019m the kind of girl who cries over a lonely old man walking the street or a dog being left in a rescue home with no one to care for him. Perhaps that\u2019s a projection of how I feel, which is why I can relate?\u00a0 I empathize and I get sad because that\u2019s how I feel sometimes; lonely, un-cared for, pretty exhausted and petrified!<\/p>\n

I also think when you are trying to figure things out, trying to make certain things work it can kind of take over your life.\u00a0 When it\u2019s that important you find it hard to let go, to loosen the grip and let it be.<\/p>\n

So why are some things more important than others?<\/b><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t want to fail again, that\u2019s the crux of it, I don\u2019t want to hear people saying \u2018another failure Paula, I knew it would happen again\u2019.\u00a0 I also worry that I\u2019m not going down the right path, that I\u2019m wasting my time yet again.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0You see this time it\u2019s different it doesn\u2019t just affect me this time, there are other people\u2019s lives involved and when you\u2019ve got that in the back of your mind it\u2019s hard to ignore.<\/p>\n

I know that it\u2019s my own self torture and thinking that gets me stuck in this rut. I am like a little rat going round and round in circles trying to find the way out of this tunnel I\u2019ve got myself stuck down.\u00a0 The more I stress the more it gets dark, no light at the end just endless tunnels with no way out.<\/p>\n

So what if I just stepped back a bit; slowed down and took time out to relax. Maybe just maybe I\u2019d see something if I opened my eyes and believed that there was a way out.\u00a0 Feel my way around using all my sense instead of just one, perhaps there is a possibility; a possibility of freedom soon.<\/p>\n

To be free you\u2019ve got to step into the unknown<\/b><\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly why I am stuck. I\u2019ve become fearful, I just don\u2019t know what is going to happen and that scares the hell out of me.\u00a0 There I\u2019ve admitted it.\u00a0 But I also know that if I don\u2019t step forward and take another leap of faith I\u2019ll stay stuck and nothing will get done and I will have failed, but by my own doing this time.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s that need to know the answer, the results and how we will get there that stop\u2019s us in our tracks. Except for anything worthwhile to happen in life, you\u2019ve got to have faith, be bold and be courageous.\u00a0 I need to step out of my own way and keep pressing on because I want to be free, free to do what I want and free to live with purpose.<\/p>\n

So what have I got to lose?\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

The short answer is I\u2019ve got more to lose if I stay where I am.\u00a0 I also know that this isn\u2019t the last of it. I\u2019ll be back here again, but I\u2019ll be a little bit more prepared \u2013 I\u2019d better be!<\/p>\n
