Working, eating, exercising, having relationships and even tackling your enormous to-do list drains you because most of your energy is needed to hate upon the person you are.<\/p>\n<p>However, once you are in tune with yourself and crazy about your gorgeousness, you can breeze through everything.<\/p>\n<p>Believe me, I know. I\u2019ve been on both sides of the spectrum and the self-loving side looks a billion times more promising, hopeful and productive. Your mind is less cluttered, you have more energy, more lust for life and are generally a much happier person.<\/p>\n<p>Once you know that you\u2019re enough just the way you are, nothing can shake you. You\u2019ll open your eyes and just know that no matter what gets done today, you\u2019re fine, perfect even.<\/p>\n<p>So, how can you love yourself more without it taking away sacred time from your busy schedule?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Get up earlier to make special time for yourself.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, I hear you groaning and see you rolling your eyes. And I feel for you. I hate getting up early, hate it. But I\u2019m doing it because I know that the early bird catches the fish and the self-love feast.<\/p>\n<p>I get up at 5.30 to mediate and do Yoga. That\u2019s a sacred ritual and it helps me to fall in love with myself deeper and deeper every single day, get perspective on life and start the day off just right.<\/p>\n<p>After all, there\u2019s no better way to start your day than by showering yourself with love, right?<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Reinvest your time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We all waste time, be it in front of the TV, gossiping, reading silly and self-destructive magazines or mindlessly surfing the web. I know I do it all the time, especially that freakin\u2019 Vogue is basically glued to my hand.<\/p>\n<p>However, if you\u2019re yearning for more self-love\/productivity, reduce this time and replace it with some kick-ass self-care tools.<\/p>\n<p>Write, paint, dance, take baths, massage yourself, do DIY face masks or simply take a much needed and well-deserved nap.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll soon see that everything feels lighter and work seems easier, less stressful than before.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Learn to say No<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learn to say no to others more often and say yes to yourself. You don\u2019t have to be a guest on every party, you can choose your events. Don\u2019t overcommit yourself and instead focus on what\u2019s important: your balance, your health and you!<\/p>\n<p>Saying no isn\u2019t easy and it takes some practice, especially if you\u2019re a notorious people pleaser like myself. But the rewards are plenty and once you\u2019ve started, you won\u2019t want to stop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a04. Simplify<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your self-care practice doesn\u2019t have to be complex and chunky, especially if you lead an insanely busy life and who doesn\u2019t, right?<\/p>\n<p>Simplify your practice as much as possible and integrate it in your daily routine.
