There’s no doubt that we live in a society where we’re always plugged in, stress levels are high and finding time for ourselves is like pulling teeth. That being said, meaningful relaxation is so important to incorporate into our daily routines. r
Slowing down could be as simple as taking ten minutes each day to meditate. It could mean giving yourself permission to sit and read a novel all evening, instead of catching up on your to-do list. Or it might involve having a vacation somewhere relaxing, to get away from the busyness of daily life. r
You may often find yourself wishing you could put your feet up, breathe a little easier and simply relax. And it doesn’t matter if it’s only for a few minutes.
During those times of relaxation, your body is able to re-energize itself. You know this for a fact but then get too busy with all the million things you have to do and don’t get any change to unwind. r
