Life can be a mixture of unique experiences, people and places, a precious gift, a magical spiritual journey, and your own fairytale.
But only if you decide so.
The thing is that we can see it as the amazing, challenging and phenomenal thing it is, only if we look through the eyes of a positive person. One for whom there are no limits both in the imagination and in reality, who believes, who truly lives in the present.
And if you’re not that person, you can become him.
The first step is to start loving life by understanding why it’s so great.
Here are the main reasons:
1. Countless opportunities.
If you assume there are problems in life, your approach is quite wrong.
Instead, there are opportunities.
Everywhere around us there are chances to learn, grow ,meet new people, start better jobs, earn money, become independent, look better, improve, overcome fear, etc.
But it’s your job to notice and recognize them and do something to take these chances.
2. Mind-blowing places.
I’ve got many friends who started traveling the world once, and are still doing it to this day. They realized there’s more to life than our daily tasks and worries, the country we’re born in and the people we’ve always known.
If you go to a place with a different culture every now and then, climb a mountain, go on a safari, see people’s rituals and take part, or swim with the dolphins on a tropical island, you’ll feel in a way you’ve never felt before.
You’ll become open to new people, places and things, will refind yourself and will feel blessed.
3. Interesting people.
I don’t know if you’ve realized that, but the world is full of some pretty amazing people.
I’ve met so positive individuals who increased my energy level just by being around.
Then there are those who are open to anything new and are always looking for ways to challenge themselves and do something crazy and exciting. You can never be bored in their company.
Also, the special ones, who leave a mark in your life, who earn your deepest love. They make it all meaningful and worthwhile.
Let’s not forget that there are people out there who dedicate all their time to helping others. They give and expect nothing in return. Their kindness and compassion make the world a better place.
And let’s thank for all the teachers, mentors and leaders. They create progress.
I’ve had the chance to meet incredibly interesting people, who’ve told me amazing stories. I’ve learnt what not to do in certain situations just by listening to how they once failed.
My point is that there are so many smart, adventurous, fearless and inspiring human beings. And you just haven’t truly lived if you’ve never met one of them. And even if you haven’t found your path yet, having someone like that in your life is a great start. Just go out there and meet them.
4. The present moment.
That’s another gift we all have. Actually, hundreds of millions of them. And we can use them however we want.
So stop dwelling on the past so much and ditch worrying about the future. Then you’ll be able to experience what is now. Only here can we feel happy, contented and in peace. So fall in love with this moment, appreciate it and make the best of it.
We fall, but we get up. We make mistakes, but we keep going. We lose, but learn to move on. Our hearts get broken and we find a way to live with that.
We’re basically superheroes.
Our willpower is so strong that we can survive almost anything. Most of the times we’re unaware of it before we’ve experienced a hardship or a challenge. And then we surprise even ourselves.
Seeing people rise from the ashes is incredible, it gives us hope, inspires us to do something big. And that makes life even more beautiful.
So what’s not to love about it?
If you manage to focus your attention on these 5 areas of life, fill your days with great company, thoughts and experiences, be present, learn to let go, travel and catch opportunities, you’ll see what life is all about.
And you’ll love it.
