Chirsitina: My gratitude to you. Please read the book slowly as an experience. Let it wash over you slowly. Don't spend a lot of time initially understanding that comes later. Blessings. Clark.

I really enjoy the topic and the approach. For me personally fear is the biggest enemy because it destroys my efforts to be calm and happy. Therefore I would be happy to read more about this.

I will for sure buy your book, dr. Falconer!

Thank you for spreading these ideas!

Dr. Falconer,

Have you read the book "The Culture of Fear: Why Americans Are Afraid of the Wrong Things"? I think you might enjoy it, since it is very similar to your topic. It's more in the style of "Freakonomics" or "The World is Flat", and I am a fan of that writing style. Do you have a Twitter username? I'd like to follow you, mine is @simple_truths (it's for the company that I work for). We also have blog, it's http://blog.simpletruths.com.

Thanks!

Dee: Thanks for your comment. Of course it is a contradiction in part to my piece, as I sense you may feel your hand washing is to your own fears, but the facts are that part of being human is not only living with fear but also dread. In my piece and in my book I attempt to show how we can successfully manage this, in particular the fear that we and others go about manufacturing and putting into us. The question for us all is how do we contain it in a creative way on a day to day basis, always knowing that fear and dread are essential to anything creative and make up part of LOVE. If you choose to read my book I'd love to hear your comments. Thanks again. Clark.

I'd never really looked at it from that perspective. With a little reflections I see how people around me are sick because of fear. It's funny because I don't really fear getting sick and hardly ever do. But I do wash my hands on a regular basis. :)
