For me I always remember that time is just a concept we have made in order to make communication easier.

Time is not something we can possess nor is it living, so the idea of friend or foe does not even enter the picture.

So if we want to say we ‘ran out of time’, the excuse as you say, then we should be frank about it and say ‘I chose to do other things’.

It is amazing how we hide our own inability to take responsibility for ourselves :)

I can really relate to what you are saying here. I have a similar lifestyle in terms of how busy I am and the number of commitments I am trying to keep up with.

I often feel the burden of the time crunch and it feels like I rarely have enough time for all of my goals.

The times when I feel most at ease are the times when I let go of needing to accomplish everything and just relax into the moment. Fully accepting that I am doing my best and that I will accomplish whatever I can in the given time. When I can get into this mindset, it is much easier to be fully present in each moment and enjoy what I am doing. I do a better job at this when I am with my kids then when I am working but it is a work in progress.

Thanks for shedding light on this really important topic.

Time management is a simple thing. It is not something like what they call as ‘Rocket Science’. It is procrastination that makes you feel you don’t have enough time. If you are sincere to yourself then it becomes so easy to manage time.

I’m in agreement with Jarrod on this. We’ve all got time. It’s just a question of what we choose to fill it with and to what extent we’re prepared to take responsibility for our choices.

Once we do, we’re in a more powerful position to make positive changes and to use time more wisely.
