Hey Rob,
yes! I remember Napoleon Hill covering that. It got so bad that he got the the point that he didn't know whether they were real or not. Lol

But none the less, i think that having different perspectives is one of the keys to success.

It goes more along the lines of thinking outside the box.

There is really nothing that is impossible, its just that we have some limiting beliefs that do not let us see beyond that.

Great Idea.
Napoleon Hill would call this your "Mental Mastermind Group"

With the ease of communication in the 21st century, you could also find three close friends whose differing perspectives you want and text each other for insights.

It's even more interesting when you make an effort to become these personalities. Once you break out that concept of who you think you are and realize that identity is a fluid concept, all you dreams become possible.

I love it. The idea is rooted in the shamanic tradition of "journeying" to visit with spirit helpers. One's virtual assistants need not even be human. Some native American traditions espouse the concept of "power animals" as helpers, for example.

If possible, I think it's always very productive to ask a child. They are not immersed in adult pre-conceptions and fear of being wrong, they are naturally creative in ways that adults have had ground out of them years ago, their solutions are simple, and their perspectives are so insightful, it's spooky.
Everyone should listen to Sir Ken Robinson's brilliant and funny speech at the TED talks, on creativity and how the education system stigmatizes being wrong, but how it's when we're wrong that we become truly creative. So my second thought is,'make a move; don't worry so much if it's wrong or right, just make a move; the rest will sort itself'.
My third suggestion is not to agonize over it. Let the question float over your head like a thought balloon but don't interact with it too much. Have trust that the answer will show itself when you are ready to use it, not squander it. It never fails.
