		<description>I wonder how many people have a plan of action to solve a problem but do not succeed because of the pitfalls you mentioned in the first two instances. A clear well thought out plan without obstructions or faulty thinking seems necessary for a positive result.</description>

I&#039;ve found that it&#039;s helpful to keep things as simple as possible in problem solving and, as you&#039;ve indicated, get rid of the things that get in the way.  People have an amazing ability to solve problems and it usually comes down to the basics: Identify the problem; brainstorm possible solutions; pick one to work on; and decide who will do what and by when.
