I have been trying to find a poem or story or something to share on life and LOVE with the analogy of a jigsaw puzzle to use as my wedding vows and theme for my wedding… you have given me inspiration.
I am a HORRIBLE writer so hopefully I can come up with something for my vows.

I definitely agree with what you’ve written in this post and it is an excellent reminder. All to often life gets overwhelming. It’s important to remember that all you need to do is take a step back, return with a fresh perspective and take it one piece at a time.

I love that! This is one of my personal weak spots; I work too hard and don’t take time to rest, sleep, eat well and take care of all three of myselves: body, mind and spirit.

I agree with the sentiments in this post. If I have a daunting task I break in into smaller tasks and then I think that “If I can count it, I can do it” and I have not yet found something uncountable, although I have run out of time on a deadline occasionally, due to the piorities I set myself!

@Vincent – My pleasure. Some tasks or goals certainly can feel overwhelming. But if we can get past that to see all the small tasks that make up mammoth undertakings then we can take real action and keep on taking real action consistently.

@Maria – It was a lot of fun to put the puzzle together. Of course because I am who I am I now want to find a new bigger puzzle to solve!

It is amazing how a simple thing like changing up the environment can really help jump our mind out of the train tracks it’s stuck on.

Stephen I applaud you for learning so much from doing a puzzle!

Perspective is so important and doing the smallest thing to change your perspective can help solve the most daunting problem. I often encourage students to stand up, or walk around when they get stuck on a problem. Just that action often breaks up their confusion.
