I disagree.

Take no interest in the company and its culture. Don't care about your fellow workers and your boss. Never ask anyone how they are doing or what are they up to. Don't socialize with anyone. Arrive at work precisely as requested, and leave precisely 8 hours later. Don't stay late. Steal paper, pens, pencils, mats, computer parts, and other goods. They will come handy at home. You can also sell them to make extra cash. Set up an illegal server and start various illegal commercial website. Make more cash. Share movies, software, music, digital photos and digital books. Make even more money out of it. See everything as potential source of additional income.

Good practical stuff. As a field consultant I hit such situations very often although I stick with my job. Starting a new project or a gig is like getting a new job.
Helpful stuff - liked it.

"get to know you're colleagues" should likely be 'your'. Unless you meant something more like "Understand that you are colleagues".

Great article. I'm starting a new job next Sat and this couldn't have come at a better item.

I have one observation though, you need ease up on the language to make the post reads more fluently. I'm sure you can rephrase statements like this to make them faster to scan:

"..but also know enough to know you can always know more"
