I totally agree! I just visited your website. Awesome stuff!

LOVE this! It’s inspiring. The key is finding that motivates you and stirs that passion in your heart. After that, it’s just sticking with it and seeing it through. Anything worth doing is worth working hard for. Starting a business is the opposite of easy, but it can be so fulfilling and rewarding- and not just because of the paycheck.

This post reminds me that I am without a doubt a cre8tor. I express more interest than simply cutting back on Lattes and clipping out coupons. I want the house on the hill and thankfully I have an avenue in which I am working hard to achieve such.

I encourage anyone to develop a cre8tive mind and explore ways to beat the 9-5, minimum wage lifestyle.

    {Look around you. Everything you see was originally just an idea in someone’s head.}

it’s nice to be reminded :)

indeed if we expect ourselves to live in a extraordinary life, we gotta behave extraordinarily than most commonly done, create that extra piece of value~

Thanks for the article! I needed a little kick in the pants on this one, as I have a few Cre8tor type things going on, but just needed a but of re-focusing.

Having a passion for music, and such, I have figured out how to build pickups for electric guitars, which couples well with me electronics degree. So far everyone that has heard my pickups, loves the sound of them,

I know I just need to keep plugging away at this, and it will pan out for me.

Will there be an ebook or a audiobook version? I really love the concept, but I’d love to read this on my Sony eReader!

You should improve your English first.

Don’t forget the other *other* eight hours – the hours you spend sleeping. If you can set up passive income (like selling an ebook), you can make money even when you sleep!

    Hey Robert,

You’ve helped me realise that I’m pretty lucky.

You said that the idea is to work a job to support yourself and be creative in your spare time…I saved up so that I could afford to start my own website full-time.

However, it’s only that being 20, my parents let me live at home for $30 per week, that I can keep doing this full-time.

I don’t have an income yet so money’s running out fast. Your article makes me value the amount of time I’ve got to do this, in relation to other people who have to find time to be creative on the weekend. I do get quite a lot of stick for not having ‘a job’ though. :D

    Cheers

    Sam

That’s awesome! Love the determination, and even more, that you have a plan you are pursuing. Keep it up!

  • http://www.other8hours.com Robert Pagliarini

It’s an important lesson we all need to remember. Everybody can create something. Nobody has the market on ideas.

  • http://www.other8hours.com Robert Pagliarini

Nothing in the works yet, but I really don’t think the ebook format would do the book justice. There are so many forms and tools that are much better in print.

  • http://www.other8hours.com Robert Pagliarini

Yes, good point. Do you have experience/expertise in this area? Would love to get your insights.

  • http://www.other8hours.com Robert Pagliarini

You are lucky :-) ! Take advantage of it as much and for as long as possible…

Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally someone who says it like it easy. I am honestly sick of all the blogs that ONLY talk about saving. I already save more than 1/2 my salary and I can see that it is not going to give me the life style I want even if I continue to do so for the rest of my life.

Waiting toread your next few columns on becoming a creator :)

    Thank you for th einspiration.

This speaks directly to me. I’ve quit my job recently to work full time on serving through my blog and am so excited about what is going to happen. Thanks for confirming my beliefs.
