I enjoyed the post. Thanks its well appreciated. I felt so bummed out and dperess. Now I feel so motivated and inspired to move foward and conquwer my life.

One of my person favorite qoute for rejection is " for every person who rejects me a hundred more is willing to accept me" You guys are right. There are no such things as failures just opportunity to grow.

Its funny b.c Im actually a social worker and psychiatric depression advisor. It always difficult to believe our own advices for ourseleves. I can give good advices to be postive but its always difficult to take them as our own.

Positive self-talk is about inner-game. Handle rejection must be an habit in some area in your life. If you are not able to deal with rejection with women for example, you will not be able to have a meaningful romantic relationship.
When you stick to your habit, rejection is not a big deal anymore, because you know that it will pay one day or another.

Rejection is hard for us because many times, it is not really the other person rejecting us. It is us who reject ourselves first. Rejection can help us discover just how secure we are, just how much we can love ourselves despite what others say. Good day! :)

Nice article. But all bullsh*t! Who can actually do positive self talk when they are in an emotional state? Not even the best psychologist can do that.

Always reframe and view rejection as a learning, a honing experience. It is said that Colonel Sanders was turned down (rejected) over 1000 times before he got his first franchisee for Kentucky Fried Chicken. All the while he was traveling around, sometimes sleeping in his car all on the strength of a recipie he belived in.

Rejection doesn't mean the rejector is right in rejecting you. Look at all those 999 who didn't take the opportunity that made the Colonel and #1000 rich men. So it's right don't take it personally - it may be bad judgement on the rejector's part.

@RaAr, totally agreed about finding ways to be positive.

@Tom, I won't dream about missing out on mentioning about self confidence and esteem. If we can change how we feel about ourselves, we can also change how we view rejection and things happening to us in our lives.
