You’re spot on. It’s been said that the biggest secrets that the ‘gurus’ don’t want to say, is that the biggest stumbling block for people’s own success is laziness – because it’s hard to sell a solution to it

So instead they sell time management, “positive thinking”, supernatural / new age stuff, anything to put the responsibility on something which is (essentially) outside the person themselves… because they don’t want the reader to feel guilty!

Combined with massive consumerism (which is just as big here in Sydney), ever-increasing housing prices, and you end up with a nation of people in massive debt and no real assets to show for it.

I could not agree more with you. I too suffer from motivation and from somewhere deep inside I seem to get going at a hectic rate.
