9 Hardcore Tips on Confidence

It’s all being about hardcore!

I think way too many people want confidence in life, but sometimes, they’re just looking in the wrong places. People want the “instant” solutions”, the short cuts and the life-changing whatever.

Confidence is a tricky game. Reading online tips can only get you so far, but let me get into the root of it all by going hardcore here.

You ready?

1) Get that work done

Confidence comes from looking back into a life of achievements and goals fulfilled. You absolutely need to get that work done! No excuses. Stop putting it off and thinking that “tomorrow” is okay.

Work isn’t meant to make you feel on top of the world, but you just need to fight through it.

2) Get rid of excuses

And yep, you need to get rid of excuses. Excuses are NOT reasons. If you want to get something done, throw excuses out the window. Nothing is more draining than feeling listless simply because you didn’t do something due to some minor thing which you allowed to get in the way.

3) Fake it and make it

This is a classic one. You just have to fake it till you make it. If you think about it, when you “fake” it, you’re effectively allowing your mind and body to live out an actual truth. With that, you’re allowing a possibility and creating a new reality for yourself.

And that is hardcore because you pretty much did something you never thought was possible.

4) Punch fear in the face

Because, what’s a little getting out of your comfort zone? Why let some feelings of nervousness and anxiety get in the way of what you really want? Trump these and topple them over. Confidence will result from it.

5) Don’t be afraid of a little pain

Because it’s only a little pain. Be it a tiny cut on your finger or some emotional pain, override it. You’ll be fine. Be confident and know that these little things don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Man up!

6) Assert yourself. Confront even

I find that a lot of people are not confident because they allow others walk over them. They don’t say anything or stand up for themselves.

It’s time to change that. Stand up for yourself against bullies or people who try to take advantage of you. Confront them to clear the matter too. But do it in a peaceful way of course.

7) Do something crazy

Something that you never, ever though you’d do. That’s a major milestone you can leave in your life forever. That’s something you can be proud of. The confidence will come along.

8) Travel alone

To a place you’ve never been before. If you want to make it even harder, travel to a place where you don’t know the language. Then absorb the culture and open up to others’ lifestyle. The insights are going to boost your confidence to the next level!

9) Break up

You may not know it, but your lack of confidence could be due to a toxic relationship you’re in. Your significant other or even your best friend may be dragging you down. Muster up that courage to break away. The new found freedom will help you return to your original, confident self.
