    I few of my ex-girlfriends hated my trophy collection from all my years in martial arts collection.  I could see their point as they just sat there collecting dust big time.  But I realized that they are symbolic of point #1 from this article on remembering what you’ve already accomplished.  They remind me that if I won before, I can do it again, even if in other parts of my life.

    The thing most people don’t realize about achieving goals is that it doesn’t have to be that hard. Set the goal, give yourself a realistic time line, and constantly progress towards it. That’s it! And the  best part is…you yourself choose and control your own goals.
