A great article for anyone working from home now or who may be interested in doing this in the future.

I have toyed with the idea. What seems to be holding me back is fear. I fear I will lose everything. This suggest I have low confidence in myself and my abilities. Some how I need to move past this block. The future 9 to 5 status of none may force my hand and make me push fear aside and take the work from home idea serious.

The five items you list in your article seem like great foundational pieces for anyone interested in working from home successfully. I am going to keep these and pull them up in the future if I push past my fear and decide to go for it in a work from home business.

I think scheduling is the key.

I like to setup my containers and timeboxes so that I know my time budgets and where to put my energy. It also helps me focus, when I know there's a time and place for things.

This is a really good read as I would love to work from home myself. As a pharmacist it's not really that easy but I have started a website to help me out. Thanks for the great article.

I found that persistence and always having your goal in your mind are the most important factors in succeeding. That's the only way you can build your own business. Also, when you don't listen to others but only think with your own head.

This is great advice and things that I struggle with at times. These are definitely the top five tips for an effective work/life balance when one is both working and living in the same space!

The one thing that has made the biggest difference is separating my work space from my personal space. If you have the room then do it. You will become more productive in both your work and your personal activities.
