This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It’s the old what goes around comes around routine.

[...] Tea’s benefits may spring from its healthy combination of anti-oxidants and caffeine. According to a study by the University of Limburg in the Netherlands, “the most important consequence of [caffeine’s] adenosine antagonism … might lead to improvement of higher cognitive functions, particularly memory.” The antioxidants in tea are called polyphenols which have repeatedly been shown to improve cognitive function and memory. Tea also contains a calming amino acid called theanine which helps reduce “the jitters” and keeps the mind relaxed and focused. Perhaps the best news is that tea has up to 10X the polyphenols found in foods like fruits and vegetables. (link) [...]

Eating healthy and consistent has more to do with brain function than any specific foods item. Point in case: http://www.thechicecologist.com/2010/03/antioxidants-and-the-greatest-health-discoveries/

You offered wonderful suggestion here. I love each of the items that you listed. I have two entire cabinets in my kitchen dedicated to herbs and organic herbal teas. Ginseng and Ginkgo in tea form and as herbal extracts are indeed wonderful for the memory (among other things). Another favorite (which falls under fruits and veggies) is bell pepper. Bright red, orange, yellow, and green.... they all have such wonderful health benefits. Great article. Keep inspiring us towards optimal health!

The working of the brain depends not on the amount of nutrients that you are eating but the type of nutrients. This is a list of the foods that are beneficial in improving the state of the mind. Try to solve brain teasers, math problems and sudoku as by indulging in such activities you will stimulate the lazy memory cells thus enabling you to remember things in a better way.
