What about those people who love their work and moving towards their goals? Isn’t there’s a healthy addiction as long as their life is in balance?

There is definitely a time where multi-tasking and busy-ness is good (and exciting even!), but then there are other times where it is important to sit, relax, and be still.

    Great thoughts!

Just when I think I’ll get away without being called out. I never relax! Even when I am sleeping my mind is racing with what to do next and what I should have done. It looks as though it’s time to cut back. Thanks for the post!

Guilty as charged. Email is my drug of choice. However, I usually manage to just sit and think at least once a day. It brings back the sanity.

Great post. yeah i do have overdrive addiction im very motivated like i always have to stay busy and be doing something, but when i get burned out i just calm down and let everyone know im taking a break to realign with my inner self and find my inner truth again. I beleive the problem is people get so lost in “stuff” and there job that they forget there purpose of life and when that happens you tend to go in a downward spiral and you gotta just realize and see the signs and say listen everyone im taking time off to find my truth and ill be back its important to do that i believe everyone needs to relax and ask them selves whats my purpose? what do i want? what makes me happy? sometimes we get so lost in what other people want that are needs of welbeing come last and that could be damaging to your inner soul … so remeber everyone take care of you first, before you go out helping the world!!!

Great timing, I have realised this week I’m addicted to the internet, reading emails, facebook, the news – none of it is particularly productive and while I’m trying to stay connected to my friends and the world, I’ve realised I’m not getting connected to me. I’m giving myself an hour in the morning to surf to my heart’s content then stop. And then learn how to be more creative with my time. On that note, my hour is up!
